According to contemporary HR standards, workers should be treated with respect and dignity. The company's workers should consider themselves to be essential members of the team. Companies can increase employee engagement by using current HR practices.

Giving employees the knowledge, they need, treating them with respect, and offering benefits like health care, retirement programs, and other things.

Benefits can be thought of as tea, and perks can be thought of as a pastry to go with the tea.

In today's businesses, human resource management, also known as human capital management, is crucial. The basics of HRM must be followed because they apply to all industries.

The human resources division of every organization should adhere to a few fundamental rules.

For instance, hiring decisions should be made solely based on merit, there shouldn't be any favoritism or prejudice, and everyone should be treated equally and consistently.

All firms must adhere to these rules to prosper.

Because people are of a higher order in the cosmos than other production inputs (land, capital, and technology), they should be handled differently.

People will be more motivated and committed to the organization as a result.

In the absence of managerial advice, workers will learn in other ways or on their own. In simple, in the absence of managerial guidance, workers would do the job according to the situation. In our day-to-day work experiences, this can be observed clearly.

    1. Benefits are a part of an employee's salary, while perks are auxiliary, for example: rewards for exemplary work on a particular project. Many great work perks, like having fresh fruit and snacks available to employees, lounge areas (like gaming areas, ball pits, and trampolines!), or nap rooms, make the environment more inviting for employees.

However, perks do little to compensate an employee who is injured on the job, which is why benefits are more substantive. If you imagine a car, perks are like the large rims and powerful stereo system of an automobile. Benefits are more like the seatbelts, airbags and suspension. In short, benefits are things which people need, while perks are things that people want(Justworks, n.d.).

  3. The article emphasizes the importance of treating employees with dignity and respect, and recognizing them as a valuable input to the production process. It suggests that companies can motivate and retain employees by offering employee development opportunities, which can help employees grow their knowledge, skills, and abilities. According to Herzberg's theory, employee growth is a motivational factor, and companies should offer resources and support to aid employees in their personal and professional development.
